Split Tracks

Why Can't I split tracks in Live Intro? It is grayed out, won't let me do it. Doesn't respond to CMD + E either.

What is up with this? I mean, even Garageband has this feature!

Basically, I have to make edited version of tracks with swear words. It would be really easy if I had this feature...

in abelton next to your audio track there will be an arrow pointing towaors your other tracks. just click that

Did you mean Split Clips?
Garageband doesn't have Session view. Split Clips is a feature for Arrangement view. See 6.11 Splitting Clips (Live 9 manual).
