just got live 8 with the live 9 upgrade with the educational discount. How long can i expect to wait before i can auth it? I've already sent all the details through

What the fuck has just happened though? I just tried to authorize suite 8 when I opened it up, but forgot that I hadn't verified my educational status yet, but I still clicked authorize online and for some reason Ableton authorized live 8 Lite because it obviously picked up on the fact that I authorized a copy of live Lite that came with my focusrite inteface.

So now, when I open Ableton it gives me live lite! I don't want that ffs I want live Suite 8, which I just payed 270 quid for!

When my educational status get's verified will it automatically update me to Suite or will I have to re-install Ableton?

Neither. They have a really good system for this.
1: Open Live.
2: Options.
3: Preferences.
4: User Account Licenses.
5: Turn "Show all products at startup" to [yes]
6: Restart Ableton Live
7: Choose which version you want to use (And if it's a verified license, it will open that version every time until you turn "Show all products at startup" to yes again.)
