How do I install an instrument?

Post by DanV10 » Mon Dec 31, 2012 7:10 am

I downloaded this instrument: http://www.musicradar.com/gear/all/comp ... sive-32211

How do I add it in my Ableton program so I can use it?

Macintosh HD:Library:Audio:Plug-Ins:Components:Massive.component:

Macintosh HD:Library:Audio:Plug-Ins:VST:Massive.vst:

Occasionally they come with an installer.

Once you have them in the folder, Live will detect them and they will be in you Browser. Select Preferences like this:

This is what I got after downloading it from Piratebay.

Yeah no worries.

Would you by any chance be able to help me more on forward?

If you would, please add my skype: Wiz975

It's nothing cracked-related or so, more towards Ableton Live 8, I'd also like you to check out a composition I made too.

The only way this topic could be worse is if you were asking about how to install your cracked version of Ableton Live (congrats if you did it all by yourself!)..

While I am capable of instructing you through installing Massive, I'm not allowed to on here. The forum is anti-pirating by nature.

So my suggestion is to save a bit of money, buy a nice DAW (If you haven't already) and then grab Massive from NI's shop. It'll come as a very handy installer that'll do the work for you, and instantly work in AL8/9.

Oh, and I strongly suggest deleting this thread and changing your IP.
This thread is akin to going to the grocery store to return stuff, telling them that you dropped the eggs while you were stealing them from there. .-.
