Is it alright for my first song?

It was my first time mastering, and now I'm hearing annoying clicking in the song. Any suggestions?

Nice job. I particularly liked your transition into the triplet feel; very seemless. I'm right there with you, learning mastering on my own for the first time. You start learning little things with each track you do. I think the clicking could be avoided by using a beat repeat on the snare sample as it starts getting faster and faster. It might get rid of the sample clipping which I assume is causing the clicking in the mastered version.

The kick sounded a little flat. The punch was there b/c the volume sounded cranked, but there was no bottom. Try layering multiple kick samples and/or using drum processing tools like 'Kick Hard Attack' or 'Kick Huge Warm' to fill up the sound. This will give your kicks more of that "UHMPF!" without jacking up the track's volume. Additionally, compressors can really give you that hard hitting feel. I use compressors on all of my drum tracks.

I could see how you were bringing it back to the opening drum riff on the outro, which is a nice touch, but it felt a little too drawn out with just the drums. Just my gut reaction.

Well done on the first track though! Isn't it a great feeling when you finish a track? I get exhilarated. The tips with the drum stuff I've just learned in the last few weeks, but that should get you on your way to filling up your sound. Keep making that music!

Thanks, FastTwitch.

Could you give me some advice as to what compressor I would use for the drums? And could you tell me more about the drum processing tools because I have never heard of them and I am wondering what they do, even given the probably self explanitory name. I am interseted.

Thank you for your valuable feedback, for that, I followed you on SoundCloud :D

I think he is referring to the compressor from Ableton Live, with the presets taken from the Audio Effects > Audio Effect Rack > Drum Processing folder. But nice tune, I liked the bassline.
Mah soundcloud!
If you decide to go listen, leave me some feedback.
