Laptop help

Post by adiamant » Wed Jan 02, 2013 12:31 am

I am currently getting a new laptop and I just wanted to make sure the one I have will be good for running Ableton, FL, scratch live and VSTs on. I already have a home studio but I figured since I am getting a new laptop might as well get one that gives my studio more mobility. Also I might possibly use it for DJing down the road. I am planning on picking up the fast track mk2 for an interface since its only $99 and I have the fast track ultra and like it. Will this laptop with the fast track mk2 work well for my needs? The specs are great and for the price its amazing but I just want to make sure that I am not missing something that can cause me major problems and major headaches after I buy it.

Yes, this laptop will be great. You would still benefit from an audio/midi interface, though.
