Any idea how I set the cc values for user 2 mode? I've got a Waldorf Blofeld that I'm running via Ableton and having lots of fun with it. I'm able to map the filter cutoffs and res to the rotarys on my PadKontrol as you can go in and edit the cc values on that but if I want to map the User 2 pads to control the cutoffs/res/etc on the Blofeld I'd need to be able to name the values for the Launchpad User 2 pads. Any ideas if I can do this? Or even a workaround? If it was a plugin I could use configure and then map them in midi mode but this is not an option with an external hardware synth.

They are midi notes (weird ones which do not trigger sounds). You can not edit them.
Your best bet is probably going into Automap mode in the Launchpad.

With the automap software provided from Novation you can change the values, but that is the only way that I know of.

Just a clarification... user 2 buttons send CCs, not notes. CCs are control changes, which is why they do not produce sounds when an instrument is armed.
But I agree with the above, use automap.

Yes, I realise they are not notes, but cc values. I'm just looking for a way to edit the cc values of User 2 mode. I'll look into Automap. Thanks everyone.

If they were cc values, you would not be able to map a 'range' of them.

Sorry, confusing CC with Controller Numbers. I need to be able to set a controller number for the range of values, as I can with the rotary controllers of the PadKontrol. Any idea whether this is possible with Automap? I have been at work all day so I won't have a chance to look into this properly until this evening. Thanks.

I just wanted to make sure that it was clear, without debate, that the pads in User 2 send note data.
The only exception being the arrow buttons.
If they were control changes, their functionality would not work the way advertised.
Understanding that can reduce confusion and prevent people from misleading others with their assumptions.
And Automap should work. It can get messy at times. But it does what's required when you take the time.
