Choosing Massive and Absynth Presets in Ableton LIVE-Browser
Hey there!
Can you guys help me with the following please:
I´d love to see the presets of Massive and Absynth in Lives Browser (im Beta testing Version 9 right now) to directly be able to choose it from there...
Can Live display the preset Files of Massive and Absynth and if yes, how can i make sure, i can access them in my Live browser without having to select the preset within the instruments window itself?
All the best, Philip

Hey Philip,
I think that doesn't work, at least I couldn't get any access in Live 9. Appreciated if somebody has an idea...
Cheers.

Nope, doesn't work that way.
One of the biggest drawbacks of the 3rd party soft-synth world is having to learn / use all these different browsers.
One way I work around this -- but is something I do overtime, as I continue to work on stuff -- is create Instrument racks around any patches I really like for a given instrument, then create a folder in Live for that instrument and drop the rack in there. At least that way in the future, I can access my favorite patches via the live browser, rather than diving into dozens of different browser UI's and trying to remember how to tag / save / load / get around... This rack approach has worked *very* well for developing a live-browser-centric way of accessing content, but obviously there is now way to just 'have it there' to begin with, you have to build it over time.
