looking for specific effects to smooth out my workflow

when i'm making a track, i keep track of the peak frequency of each sound, then i arrange my sounds by frequency, left to right, from lowest to highest. i label each sound by frequency also. after that i make little notch eqs in each sound so that the sound just higher and just lower than it fits in better. i was wondering if there are any plugs that do this sort of thing for you automatically.

also, is there something similar to "mixed in key" that works as a vst plug? or does "mixed in key" do that already?
