Launchpad LED Feedback on a Return Track

Relatively new to programming the User panel on the Launchpad but am playing a live show soon and am looking for some guidance. I've got a group of tracks all being sent to a Return track in Live. On that Return (which is then sent to the Master) is an AutoFilter and some other effects that I'm toggling on and off with a few pads in the User 1 configuration. I'd like to get some visual feedback on the Launchpad to let me know when the effects are on/off, but am having a bit of trouble figuring out how to do that. Can anyone offer some help?

Do you have track/sync/remote all checked to 'on' in live's preferences?
