Live 8 Standard (Education), Not eligible for beta?

Hey everybody I just purchased the live 8 standard version with my education discount I tried to sign up for the beta and it said I wasn't eligible. I reviewed the conditions and it said all I needed was a full version of Live 8. Standard is a full version isn't it?

i could be mistaken, but the beta is not open to everyone all the time... so it could just be that they are not taking on any new testers at the moment. if you keep checking back, you might be able to get in later if they open up any more slots.
