MIDI sync between two Macs worked perfectly in Beta 20.
In 5.0.1, the MIDI clock is jumpy and inaccurate. I've probably set something up wrong, but it looks like the same setup I had with Beta 20.
Anyone else have the same problem? The MIDI symc light used to flash with each beat, now it stays on constantly for a random number of seconds, flashes a few times, then does the same again. MIDI data is flowing, but with inconsistent sync.

i think eastbubblefunk is right this is not good i pay money

an upgrade it is the ultimate rock in a hard place..

I've been using Beta 20 all day with no MIDI sync problems.
Now that I've installed 5.0.1, it doesn't work any more. I do seem to think there was a setting somewhere that I tweaked in the past to get MIDI sync to work. I just can't remember what it was.
Everything else works perfectly for me. And my lighting/video Live set has over 500 scenes, and they all work.

It seems all of my Beta 5 preferences were lost.
I've got sync working, although the sync transmit light doesn't flash on the beat, but flashes randomly. However, Live receive the sync is flashing and running in time.
Awesome to see one Mac playing the audio while another does lighting and video in perfect sync, with all lighting and video effects staying in sync with any tempo.
Just hope it keeps working...

the preferences are not lost, Live 5 release version will use the prefs of the last installed release (and nor beta) version. this should be 4.1.4 in your case, i guess.
Drop a note if the problem is still there after trying the preferences of your last fine working beta or simply trashing them and setting up fresh ones.
