Yeah, there is still all that stuff in it that you were allowed
to use in Live 9 Beta. I already asked Ableton about it, because
it is a complete mess - they told me they are reworking the
packs section at the moment and asked for some patience...

These are NOT the content that comes with the download,
so you have to download and install them on your own, right ?

With my 2MB connection Live says it's going to take 2 hrs to download.

I've ordered the box as the packs are where the majority of the 55GB download are collected.

If you have ordered the download only - yes, you need to download the packs associated with the product you spent your cash on! Good Luck :o

I'm a little confused, when I look at 'your packs' it shows session drums (description says it's 28GB, https://www.ableton.com/en/packs/session-drums/) but theres no download link.

I own session drums for live 8 and the sounds show up in the live 8 library.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Cheers,
Stax.

Slightly on topic. After I have installed the downloaded packs, can I delete the downloaded pack files?

I backed them up to transfer them to my music machine. So it's ok to delete the files after install though?
