Any idea when the Boxed-Upgrade will be in stores?

I'd really like to have the digital download, but the extra 50 just to get the box mailed to me is unreasonable. This charge really negates the "discount" that was pitched to me for buying it by March 12.

Based on many of the issues w/ new release-crashing-payment-sluggishness-etc, I will wait this out a few days.

Ableton....Greed is not good. The box '"fee" is a major bummer....

Some people like the printed manual for its tactile sensation and fresh new smell of the dried ink on the pages. I prefer a manual as well but may see about printing it at work early morning but 600+ pages may be pushing my luck but the printer is a) color and b) fairly fast.

Also may check out kinko's prices or staples prices. Black and White print job would certainly cost a lot less....hmm $0.08/page...@600 pages, probably going to be more like 9-10 cents/page double sided...so it'll be at least $30+ just to print out a hard copy at local staples.

Does anyone here actually know what the exact costs are that Ableton incurs for the materials included with the boxed version?

If not, then how can anyone possibly claim with any credibility that their price is "excessive" let alone "greedy"?

Some people need a boxed upgrade because they live in a country with a really pathetic bandwidth allotment. I know of some who'd be well beyond their monthly traffic before Live 9 Suite is done downloading.
