Quick query.
I am looking for a midi controller for Ableton 9. At the moment, Push is slightly off my radar, mainly due to the waiting time.
I am looking for a midi controller to be used more for mixing,automation etc than as a performance tool, so motorised faders are a massive bonus.
With the upgrade to Live 9, do controllers with automap feature still run succesfully?
Some controllers I am considering are a used Mackie Universal Control, Icon Qcon and a combination of Novation SL MKII 49 with Behringer BCF2000.
If anyone is using any of these midi set ups or alternatives that I haven;t mentioned, can you let me know how things are working out?
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
