Hey, so I've got 3 questions for those who don't mind entertaining/helping me.
Question 1 is about an effect on some chords. Which come in right at the start of the song. - https://soundcloud.com/drewlustro/discl ... 1-blue-you
It sounds like some sort of pitch effect?....but if you were to try and do this with the wheel on your midi controller. Then you'd have to worry about "bum notes" in between pushing the wheel. How are they effecting the synth's pitch or w/e at such a rapid rate, without getting those bad notes in between? Clip editing perhaps? Maybe the pitch is effecting something else besides the notes? Volume? Etc....? What are you guys thoughts? Could you replicate this effect in your DAW of choice? If so I'd be interested in the patch/technique.
Question 2 is about another effect being applied to chords.

I asked the person how they did this, and they said something to the effect of "Its legato being applied to the chords of choice forcing them to go mono?" Which apparently gives it that sliding effect. I just said "Oooo" lol. Admittedly I don't know much about Legato. Especially used as an effect, but there it is for anyone who would like to take a stab at replicating/explaining that one.
Question 3 is easy just curious as to what instruments this is in the beginning. https://soundcloud.com/fionntang/fion-brame-untitled-1
A Piano? A piano horn mix? Whatever it is it sounds filtered?
Thanks for taking the time out to read, and any and all help is appreciated.
