how i activate m4l on ableton 9???

hello..
although i am an "old" max4live user i can t open max4live on ableton 9 trial...
i expected that ableton suite and m4l is one program on live 9...
but when i open a max4live instr/midi/audio device has no devises/presets..it s empty and i can t open and edit with max editor...
the m4l path of max 6.1 is right selected(i have install max 6.1) although live seems not recognize it and says "download the latest version of max"..


i am sure that it s something obvious...what exactly i am missing ???

Max4Live in Live 9 is still a separate installation. Have you installed it from the Ableton site?

ok i found the mistake... i run ableton from the loader inside the ableton live 9 installer package who has for some reason no access to max6 ...(i run ableton without to install it ... it worked well but without open m4l)
