Tempo All over The Place in Ableton 9

I'm surprised to not find any other posts on this.

Since installing Ableton 9 my old tracks BPMs are all incorrect, some have to be sped up to around 135 to play at their original 120 and others the opposite way. I was guessing that this was just an incompatibility issue from 8 but have since noticed that new tracks are also doing it. Today I started a track at 120, saved it, closed it and reopened and the track played back at around 108 even thought the BPM count read 120.

Any ideas?

Some sort of inadvertent sampling rate change?
