Hi,
I'm currently playing with Live and an MPK Mini controller. I'm thinking about performing with it and I've prepared a song in Live. I've put tracks for drums, pad, bass, lead, etc and what I would like to do is to map each of it's pads (assigned to send CC messages) to each of my track arm button. With this, I'm able to play on each track without touching the mouse/keyboard. I would just press the CC and the correspondent pad on the MPK, then I'm able to play with the keys. What I could not do is have the knobs auto-map to the current playing track/rack to control its parameters while playing.
I'm using Mothergarage's script[1] that automaps when I select manually the track (the blue hand appears and my knobs map to each macro knob) but I would like each track to be selected and thus the knobs mapped each time I arm a track.
Is there a way to do this? Is there any other workflow that I can do something like this?
Thanks!

Select track automatically when I arm to automap knobs. How?
Re: Select track automatically when I arm to automap knobs. How?
You can map a MIDI Button or whatever to a Rack Device's title bar, so that rack becomes the blue hand target when you press the button.
Is that what you meant?

It worked! I mapped the same pad to both arm track and the device's title bar. When I press the pad, it get armed and the device selected.bastien wrote:You can map a MIDI Button or whatever to a Rack Device's title bar, so that rack becomes the blue hand target when you press the button.

Is that it or is there any cleaner way to do this? I'm asking because I plan on getting a Launchpad and it already has some buttons mapped to arm tracks and I would like to have de device selected automatically on arming.
Thanks!
