Second thing : make sure you downloaded the Max Core pack so you can get the Convo Reverb, drop the "pro" one in a set and piss about with the stuff in the unfoldy section on the side. That's the only thing I've ever seen in Max that impressed me as actually useful.
so.... did you give in?

are you downloading, using, or just talkin smack?

The first thing I did with live 9 was click on the browser and watch the program hang
The second thing I did was click on the browser and watched it hang again
The third thing I did was manually close live which produced a crash
The fourth thing I did was click on the browser, located a sound, and then watched it hang.

That's some serious hang time.

look at it's refection in the blank monitor on my left.
Why not use the multi-windows software, it's only $9?

You can use 4 monitors...

Tutorial and review, coming soon to a website near you.
Well I wouldn't bother wasting $9 on these Multi Window tools.

I bought it and it is buggy as shit, slow and at times doesn't display anything in the floating windows at all.
If you have anything over 8 sends in the floating mixed it doesnt display them and makes the top two sends inaccessible.
Also the sends letters are not displayed on the floating mixer above the channels.

The level of the pans are not reflected in the floating mixer at all.

Attempted to send an email before posting this, but do you think I can find contact details on the website I purchased it from or the confirmation email i got?

Nope.

All in all I wouldnt bother.

As Fran mentioned I've been out of the country, so I apologize for the delay in responding. This is the first I've heard of anyone having serious problems. I'll definitely try and repeat. Anticipating potential issues is the reason I went with $9 for the starting price. I limited the number of tracks that are viewable so as to not overrun the Ableton windows and desktop, but with the scroll bars you should be able to get at all your tracks, including the returns. Are you on Mac or PC ?

You can find me directly at www.facebook.com/erasermice (most active place) or at www.erasermice.com. The gumroad link is really just the purchase link. I do need to consolidate my web presence, but I have limited time to put into this, since at $9 this really isn't something that pays my bills.

My apologies again, I see what you mean. I thought you were referring to the receive controls rather than the sends. The live device window is very vertically challenged, so I guess I got stuck on 8. I'll have to work out something to accomodate more within that height (within the patch you can see that both the floating window and the in-live version use the same b-patcher)

Regarding the letters on the sends, I had left them out to save space (again due to the vertically challenged, in-live window) I'll see what I can do on that. The good news is that since the code is there it can be modified as well. I kept it all 100% native max so that savvy users can customize it for themselves.

I'll look into the other issues as well, I appreciate your patience.

Hi ameree,

Is there no 'red box' in sesssion view?

If I can't see what my OHM-RGB is focusing on in clips, it makes it difficult.

Thanks

Thanks for getting back to me Eric.

Im not sure of the limits of live but in order to save space would it be easier to have the send letter inside the rotary knob so it would save on space as I'm sure having them under it would chew up room.

I had my 8 years old son sing in and he made up a song about how mad his parents are:
Some kind of New Musical Realism... Then I used the new audio to midi function and packed
it into some surrealistic environment... :)

I'll have to give that a try. I'm sure I could layer them on top of one another, but I've always hated when things get obscured by one another.

It's certainly there for the Launchpad.
It should be for all grid type controls if they follow the normal way of reporting it. I have tested with the launchpad and APC40 (hope I get a Push soon!)

How about this: I'm using "hover-tips" over the track names so you can see the whole name of a track when you mouse over it. I can certainly do the same for the send dials, and you would then see the WHOLE name rather than just the letter.
