Live 9 - Test Tone @80% CPU

Post by djd_oz » Sun Mar 17, 2013 4:22 am

Greetings,

I've tried running the Test Tone @80% CPU test to adjust the buffer settings, no matter what buffer size, I can't get it to sound stable. I'm running this on a 2011 Mac Mini.

Any help appreciated.

Forget this method, it has never been reliable. Just set a buffer and try with a live set. Something like around 256samples should be a good compromise if you play instruments in real time. If you don't and need more cpu power increase the size a little bit.
