Sampler key zone issue

Post by bubble07 » Sun Mar 17, 2013 7:12 pm

Hi,

I noticed something strange happening in live 9.0.1 - I don't know if it's a known issue. It's a bit fiddly to reproduce but these steps definitely do it:

* load a drum rack on channel 1
* load a sampler into a slot on the drum rack and load a sample into it
* make a clip play the sample with a high velocity
* make another midi channel and route the output to the first channel's drum kit
* adjust the velocity zone so that it only triggers the sample at high velocity

--> Something odd happens and the sound goes quiet.

I did a quick screen-cast to show the problem here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YaaLlaadQsM

This seems like a bug to me, but if it's actually me being stupid, I'd be happy to know what's going on here.

Thanks

Is this happening for anyone else?

I've added annotations to the video to make it easier to follow:

It's a problem as I can't really work with multi-sampled instruments the way I want. Any advice welcome.
