Live 8 Suite Library vs. Live 9 Suite Library

OK, 'user library' it shall be then. They should make legacy 7 pack all the same, I'm still using some snippets from there...

I am in the process of moving such L8 content to L9.
It's boring but Support told me that a Live 8 Legacy pack is in the making.

I also wonder if they'll ever make those 'legacy livepacks' available for download again.

When I started I was quite the downloader of freebies, didn't keep all of them, but still kept livepacks such as Live 5, 6 and 7 legacy around. Of course; in the beginning I could determine their contents, not so easily anymore, but I do recall that some were very interesting (at least for a at-that-time Live newbie).

Peter, I usually save everything to external drives or DVDs. I am sure I have them somewhere.
If I find them, would it be legit to load them on Google Drive or similar and share?

Copy all live 8 library folders into "user library" folders and let them merge. Problem solved.

I dragged all the instrument and fx alp files (amp, analog, operator etc.) from the 8 to 9 and they were installed as legacy packs. Now I have all the missing preset files from 8 listed among the 9 presets. The bad thing is the non-preview of these files. But now they are at least in the same folder.

Same here. Preview doesn't work with the old packs after being 'imported' to Live 9.
