Hi all,
I'd like to create my own midi-effects and wonder if there is a tool available to do so under osx. Is the "midi-effect"-format somehow standardized or ableton only? I'd like to use some delay effects based on physical modelling I did in max/msp within live so in my case the preferred method would be to build a "midi-effect-pluggo".....

the midi effects in live are specifically live only unfortunately. you can use midifx (i think thats what they're called) plugins through energyxt on pc, but i have no idea about mac.
you could use iac and midi track routings in live to route the midi through max/msp and use the effects that way. also, you should be able to use pluggo midi based vst effects by utilising midi track routings inside live as well.
