okay i watched it. and tried to build it by my own. I under stand how it should work, but it doesnt.

It makes some strange sounds. quite nice, but not that what i expected :)))

I wished u had build it from beginning with an empty max device.

What is the box with the "t i i" ? the explanation was to short for me. What is it good for?

't' (trigger) is useful to reorder messages. The normal behavior is that messages go right to left.
If you send a bang to a 't b b' (b is for bang) it will output 2 bangs when you send a bang in it and you'll be able to reorder them.
Same thing for 't i i' which stands for integer.
you should check the help file or monitor its outputs with 2 print objects to get how it works.
MacBook Pro 13" Retina i7 2.8 GHz OS 10.13, L10.0.1, M4L.
iMac 27" Retina i5 3,2 GHz OS 10.11.3 L10.0.1 M4L.

I just posted the code into the description of the video! Copy and paste it into an empty max for live midi effect.

yes i paused and compare it. twice or more. i will upload it tonight when iam at home, so u may help me, that i can understand what i did wrong.

Everything looks like it should look and behave like that (both gate switches open when i hit a note and so on) except the sound. i took a brass sound like u did. but it sounds...

anyway. pointless to talk about, i have to upload it :)

okay i found the error, the dial doesnt send the 16n 8n ... values. how to change that behaviour?

it only counts from 1 to 5

edit: i got it. i connected from live.menu's item index and not symbol. now it works :)

learning by doing is the best method to learn !

Ahhhh... you must've skimmed a bit! I thought I covered that part (why do I have a dial AND a menu) pretty explicitly!
