it still has the best pads around.
How come I bought the Maschine Mk2 last weekend. Downloaded the latest template package from the NI center, followed the video instructions on youtube and got it working like a charm on my PC right away?

And that with 64bit Live 9 on Windows 8. :D

you started in with me tom, out of no where. what did you expect? me to be nice to you after that? or your comment to make me see the "error of my ways"? you are only 78 posts into this forum, i've been dealing with this maschine argument, for what seems like years(in forum time) if you have issue with anything i say, involving maschine, take it up with the people that started all of this with me, in the first place. otherwise, stay out it, because it's obvious, you don't know what you are talking about.
i see how YOU roll, sucka!
Excuse me, but Fuck You!
Yes maybe I did have the illusion that people can be rational enough to "see the error of their ways". I was wrong. As I said: I see now how you roll...

BTW: Only 15 year olds think that their post count on the forum of some company has fuck all to do with anything. In the end it just means in your case that you wasted a LOT of time spreading your little ill informed vendetta agains a COMPANY for fucks sake
Get a life...

Is all the bitching about trying to use the hardware as a general MIDI controller for Live or is it also buggy trying to control the Maschine plug-in within Live?

The new live templates work fine. It took me less than 5 minutes to make it work.

No it works perfectly as a controler for the Maschine plug-in and always has.
The control of Live was not so good in the beginning, but has gotten better with each new version of the template.
eddiex problem though seems to be that the SET UP of the template for control of Live was not so well explained in the beginning and that it had to be repeated for every new version that was released (if you wanted the enhanced capabilities of the new template).
He now uses this one complaint to shit on every user of Maschine in every thread he gets a chance to do so.

i realize you are just a noobie around here tom, shit might have to be explained to you a little more clearly...i don't have a vendetta with NI or maschine. all of this started when i made one comment on two posts of people thinking about buying maschine. the problem is, you maschine FUCKHEADS, feel you have to defend its honor by bashing a person, for having, not just a random issue, but a well known bug with maschine (pre 1.8 ) or trying to hammer in 10 pages or so, of your pro-points about maschine...basically beating anyone who doesn't like maschine into submission.
so, my vendetta is not with maschine or NI, its with fuck-holes like you who want to try to berate a dude, for having an issue.
i was actually over it....one person has apologized to me for being harsh, i have tried to squash it with another person.
but, you maschine FUCKHEADS just won't SHUT THE FUCK UP ABOUT IT AND LET SHIT BLOW OVER......YOU KEEP GOING ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND
ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND
ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND

ON about how awesome it is, and how much of an idiot i am.
so yeah, EXCUSE ME IF I'M A LITTLE FUCKING PISSSED OFFF AT ASSHOLES LIKE YOU, WHO WEREN'T EVEN INVOLVED IN THE FIRST PLACE BUT WHO FEEL THE DESIRE TO ADD TO IT!

oh and Guillermo Barrancos, don't you start trying to get involved in things you don't know about either. like tom, this doesn't concern you.
if you want to get dumb, that is a different story, otherwise butt out.

Excuse me? Because I just bought Maschine mk2, know how to follow instructions and got everything to work right away as it's suppose to..... Makes me dumb?

Uh ok.... Whatever flows your boat man. :?

The new live 9 templates work as intended and shown in the videos. Nothing more to it.

(sigh/face palm/shaking my head) that is not what i said.

if you want to continue to bash me, over this stupid maschine argument, for your own, whatever....be my guest. all of you late comers to the "argument" as to whether i am an idiot, or maschine has issues....aren't understanding that this is between me and a certain few forum members who decided to bash me for making one comment on two threads.
i have already exchanged apologies with one member, and tried to squash it out with another.
but the problem is, you MASCHINE FuckHOLES keep on coming out of the woodwork to try to take your jabs at me too. if that is your "thing" that's cool...i can deal, but just know this, if that is your "thing"....YOU are the asshole, not me. and if that is the case, like all of the rest of these FUCKHEADS, you can take your maschine and youtube videos, and shove them up your ASS!

nah, here's how it went down, delicioso made a comment about how the new maschine template works great, to which I made a comment saying how controller editor crashed on me a few times and I thought it was annoying that I had to change all of the pad settings...no beef there... then Tom started in on me with his comment to which I shot back....random comment or two...me and ton go back and forth, then you decided to get involved with your comments.

eddiex wrote:i just busted out my maschine, cuz i thought maybe in recent months i was being a hater, without really giving the new template a shot. then i got re-bitter when i had to change all my pads from "poly pressure" (default setting) to "note" (in controller editor) in order to get the velocity right. (because in midi mode, for some reason, the pads don't respond nearly as good as they do in stand alone unless you do this) also unpsyched to have to update the template, again, for the 9 upgrade.
I did notice the velocity difference when switching between Maschine (as a VST) and Maschine as a midi controller for Live. Do you have to switch the pads back to poly pressure when you go back to the Maschine VST or is this a one time thing?

Each controller preset page has its own pad sensitivity setting. Set to taste!
