Live 5.01 and Powercore-MD3/VSS3/NONLIN2 Problems!

Post by Haselmeier » Sat Jul 23, 2005 1:21 pm

Hello,
are there any known problems with the new TC-Powercore Plugs MD3, VSS3 and NonLin2?
Yesterday i upgraded to Live 5.01, during the startup the above mentioned Plugs popping up an errormessage and i couldn't get them to run with live 5.
With live 4.1 it is fine! Also they work with Cubase SX3 and SamV8.
I am working with an PC and Windows XP home SP1. Got two RME HAmmerfall DSP with the latest drivers and the Powercore is running with the drivers 1.9.3 SR1. I know that TC have a new driverset 1.95, but i heard that there are problems together with the Sony plugs, so since know i didn't updated the powercore.
Does anyone here is able to run above plugs in live 5 on a PC?
Thanks for help and hints...
Stefan

I got problems with my Master X3, too.

It is often disabled. I wasn´t able to upgrade to PoCo V 1.95, because
TC didn´t manage to send me my new Virus Multi license...

That is really bad support.

...mhm, don't understand your problem. What gaot 1.95 to do with the virus Multi update? You can download 1.95 seperatly. Well, i recieved my Virus Multi Update!
Anyhow,
i got the above mentioned plugs to run with live 5.01, but there are some graphical issues. Parts of the plug at the right disapear when i work with it.
Not so nice! But i can use them....

I found it when I read the release notes.
1.95 requires Virus 1.1, though some people run 1.04 and 1.95 together...

BTW, it´s working now. Recieved the downloadlink finally
(seems they dont send it on weekend :D),
installed Virus 1.1 and 1.95 PoCo drivers and it works now.
Even the Virus.

The only thing is, that sometimes the playback is stuttering.
Latency is 1024 ms on RME Hammerfall.
But I don´t know if this issue relates to the PoCo stuff...

To get back to your problem:
I´ll test the Inflator tonight with 1.95
It´s the only Sony Plug I own... I´ll be back.
