Live 5 is bloody brilliant

Post by rictheobscene » Sat Jul 23, 2005 8:15 pm

I didn't have time to participate in the Live 5 beta testing. so the version I purchased last evening was my first look at it. I must say it is a very nice piece of software.

I just wanted to offer my compliments.

Say ric - I like the sound of FX Freeze a lot and I've seen some issues already with Ableton's new 'Track Freeze' feature.

Your comments from testing FX Freeze it 1st hand with Ableton 5.0.1 as opossed to using Ableton's own Track Freeze.?? How do the results differ IF you've had time to try this

I haven't tested it with FX Freeze yet. As soon as I finish testing it with the Giga products, I will test it. So far, I have not found any issues.

What specifically about Ableton's freeze would you hope FX Freeze would remedy? When I test, I can be sure to cover these topics.

Any bugs reported here from users that the ableton miss :) I haven't actually tried 5.0.1 out properly yet as I've got an issue with a buggy vsti that I've yet to weed out.

If I get any probs I'll be sure to report them in the normal manner for sure.. thx for your speedy reply.
