grids in samples without warping

Post by thewarmth » Tue Mar 26, 2013 11:39 am

I imported some samples that I had cropped with a certain bpm in logic, i set the ableton tempo as the same bpm but I can't have a grid in the sample editor without warping, which just messes up everything. Is there a way to show the grid of the tempo of the ableton session in the sample editor without warping?

when I need to see a grid for one shots that I don't want to warp then I try to use the grid in the arrangement view and zoom in on the clip

Why not just slice into grids in Logic?: http://vimeo.com/8455759
Logic is so much better for that sort of audio editing than Live.
