Named set loads as untitled

Post by RBerzinski » Tue Mar 19, 2013 8:28 pm

After upgrading to Live 9, whenever I reload a set I already named and saved, it loads it as an UNTITLED set. This is a pain because when you want to save it after working on it some more, you have to remember the name. This is not good

Any sets created in Live 8 will open in Live 9, but must be re-saved in Live 9 to be fully compatible. Is this the issue you are having or does it happen even with new sets?

Are you saving to your Live 8 Library? I think that's also an issue. Make sure you are saving to a location outside of your previous library.

That solved my issue! I was storing a new Live9 set in my old Live8 library and that also caused my problems. When I added a new folder and just copied the old Live8 sets into it, they opened fine and saved like they should. Thanks to everyone who helped.

This seems to be a problem with 9.0.2.
I removed 9.0.2 and re-installed 9.0.1. Live 8 sets open correctly with titles without having to create a new folder. I tried this a few times with 9.0.2. Each time there was a problem with titles not appearing and the sets not being correctly saved. The problem disappeared once I re-installed 9.0.1. I guess you can try to solve the problem by creating a new folder, but I think the problem is with 9.0.2 and not with Live 9 in general.
