any clue how to add instrument rack into a pre-set channel?

Looking for a way to employ a template while loading new racks via push without wiping out what was originally on the device rack. Suggestions?

add effect button?

press shift plus Add effect lets you browser MIDI racks,

you might have to save some MIDI racks

MIDI racks allow you save MIDI effects, instruments and audio effect inside a rack (at least in Live 7)

I might have to do a test
