Chain Select Envelopes Don't Copy
When I cut/copy and paste a MIDI clip that has a chain select envelope in session view the envelope does not paste to the new clip. I assume that's a bug?

Re: Chain Select Envelopes Don't Copy
That is a discussion about why modulation envelopes are now difficult to see, but it doesn't explain the issue I'm raising. I can see and select the parameter in the clip that I copied, but the automation is no longer there.

A new one. But it has the same rack configuration as the current one.ShelLuser wrote:Where is the new clip placed? Still doesn't work for me. First screenshot is the original, second is a copy to another track with the same rack preset.ShelLuser wrote:How did you determine that the automation was gone?DanikaXoXo wrote:A new one. But it has the same rack configuration as the current one.
Because when I try this then it first appears as if everything disappears, but if you then click the device chooser in the envelope section you'll notice that there's a red indicator before the rack; that's where you'll find the automation again.
However, if both tracks use different rack presets (also with different names) then the automation seems to get lost. My theory is because it can't associate the automation with the new rack, even though both are the same kind of devices.
