I tried to ctrl+m as usual for midi map, but nor the knobs or the pads accept it.
I would like to map notes or knobs (many knobs!) without buying another controller!
Is there a way to do it?

Re: It seems not possible to midi map on Push...
You need to switch to the user mode (press the user mode button). You also need to activate the user ports in the midi settings of Live.filter_7 wrote:I tried to ctrl+m as usual for midi map, but nor the knobs or the pads accept it.

Re: It seems not possible to midi map on Push...
Can you explain it a bit more? Thanks
Re: It seems not possible to midi map on Push...
in lives preferences, under midi, turn on the 'remote' for the push user mode input (and output). You'll now be able to toggle to user mode and midi map things to controls.
I dont have a push to test yet, but i assume if you turn on the output for the push user mode, you'll get feedback from live for the mapped controls? Can someone comment?

midi map on Push...
lo.key thanks, you pointed me in the right direction.
here are the settings to user midi map in Push:
control surface: push / in: push / out: push
control surface: push / in: none / out: push port 2
then enable track and remote in and out of push port 2
now click user mode button and midi map everything.
