Where are the factory Ableton 9 templates?

I can't seem to find/locate any template live sets within Ableton 9??

Apparently there is supposed to be a folder in the library called 'Templates.' (Live Manual 5.5.4)

This does not exists in my version of Live L9.

Searching my disk for Template.als returns no results that reference stock L9 templates.

All of the templates that were in L8 can be accessed from the Live 8 library in Places.

Yes, where are the templates? THe folder seems to be missing. I'm glad I can still access my live 8 templates, but a total drag that I can't create new ones.

I was wondering this myself today. I just went to my Live User Library and right clicked and hit "Create New Folder" and labeled it "Templates" and dragged my ".als" file from a saved project from my desktop to it. I now have a place to create and store new templates.

I also just shut down Live and reopened it and all seems to be fine.

you can find the template.als which you create with the "save as template" function in this folder (win7, win8): %AppData%\Ableton\Live 9.0.4\Preferences

but i don´t know anything about factory templates.

you can drag the old templates folder to the Live 9 user Lib (via the finder), then they'll be there.
I was missing those also and everything is just fine with the folder in the User lib

Even better. As I look into this now, you can create the Templates folder in the User Library and, in Live, drag the templates over to it that you want.
