Live 2.0 & M-Audio Quattro & Core Audio problems?

Help needed. Using MAC I-Book w/ OS 10.2, M-Audio Quattro USB, Live 2.0, Reason.

I can't seem to get audio-out when i choose the Quattro in Live's Preferences settings. If i use the Built-in-Core Audio i can playback. But i still need to be able to RECORD. Anyone familiar with OS X's audio/ midi set up? In Utilities, Audio/midi setup.... I think the red-question marks on the devices are telling me that something isn' set right. Do i have to many input/output channels set?

Hello.,this might help you or not,,,,,,

i'm using a ibook with live 2.0 and a M-audio quatro soundcard, and i did talk to some of the tech at M-AUDIO,,,,,and THEY DON"T RECOMAND that you use OS 10.2,,,,,,,i use OS 9.2 and it work fine, and i can set-up my souncard for record or midi without probleme and latency,,,,,,

so this might help you or not,,,,,but OS9.2 could be a answer,,,,,

Thanks for the report. I had a suspicion it may have been the Quattro. When i purchased the USB Quattro (M Audio), it had a OS X sticker on it, but the drivers (audio/midi) had to be downloaded. I've got playback, no usable recordings. If i record w/ Reason (re-wired), its fine.

Thank you M-Audio. My Quattro works fine in Live 2.0. I had problems with recording audio in my I-Book, Quattro, OS X.2 setup.
Solution. I tried installing the Beta-Driver. Everything works fine. Recording isn't glitched. System device stays on-line when in use.
