8.4 'looses' vst patch when loading some songs

Just wondering if this is happening to anyone else.

In 8.34.. I load up a song, which then loads and plays fine.
In 8.4.. some of the Vst tracks do not load the correct patches.
Eg. Omnisphere loads the 'default' patch not the 'strings' its supposed to. But several other instances of the same vst do load the correct patch.

Happens with Sampler, I get 'missing sample' in 8.4, but in 8.34 all ok.

I had the same with FM8 in Live 8.4.
10 instances of FM8 work fine, but number 11 switches back to default when i load it up.
And it is always the same instance on the same channel, never one of the other 10 FM8 instances.
But it wasn't everytime, just randomly, sometime 10 out of 10 times, sometime 20 times in a row correct.

How i "solved" it or how i handle it: I saved that sound as a patch a named it with my artist name/or trackname, than I renamed the channel to the exact same saved patch name - so i can find and switch it quick. Even after 6 months or 2 years.

I know it's not a solution but that's how i handle it.

Btw: never had that issue yet in Live9. And I use the same template.

For both the confirmation and the workaround.

I've had to do similar 'track labeling' in changing over from AU to all VST - as some plugs in AU form would not open their GUI in Live consistently.

I'll work around using 8.34 until the 9 jump.
Prob finish off all those songs first...
