Controlling devices in session view...curious

Post by djadonis206 » Fri Apr 12, 2013 1:16 am

Is there a way to to select different tracks with the devices page displayed while launching clips in session view on the Push.

Right now, I'm having to go to track view, select the track I want, and then go to device view to control whichever device. This is inefficient.

Can I just stay in device view and select different tracks? This way I can jump from say, track 1's filter to track 4's filter quickly

Curious?

The only way I can see to change track in device mode is to hold Select & select the currently playing clip on the track you want to alter. You can of course also Select & click any clip slot on the track you want or touch the playing clip and get the track change.

It's probably not what you were asking for but it is a way to change track without having to switch display selection.

That's exactly what I was asking, Panten. Thanks!

Next question, is it possible to show the track name from device mode?
