I feel the same way he does about it, I agree with the "fuck the banks" part but drum circles and inconveniencing people in their way to work isn't doing shit but patting yourself on the back for figuring out the obvious and getting a sense of belonging, things I despise. :x

Seriously, drum circles. :x :x :x :x :x

But what does that make the people who pat themselves on the back for posting a fact finding outrage video on facebook that was already posted 3 million times by other people? I know they are coined as slacktivists, but feeling you’re changing the world by posting a video and mentally giving yourself an achievement star?

At least drum circles get people’s attention and are slightly less inconvenient than a bomb. :x

Facebook is the absolute worst platform for anything political. It's for cute cat pics and talking to your aunt. :x

Yeah I'll take smelly hippies over Timothy McVeigh. :x

I think the fact you know his name is part of the problem. He should be remembered (if at all) as just another brainless psyco. Authorities should put less emphasis on how dangerous these arseholes are (they love that), and more on them being pathetic losers. It's tragic that they get a platform for their "views" like this.

While I agree with you in theory, we have a great many TV shows dedicated to celebrating pathetic losers. Don’t think labeling people that directly would make them any less famous.

Nah, you parade McVeigh around and show everybody how much like him we are.

A friend of mine was a spectator at the finish line and is now in the hospital with borken bones and shrapnel wounds

He was lucky...no lost limbs and he's still alive.

you just have to follow the right pages.. everyone has a page now, even the ones you like, so you can sort the wheat from the chaff yourself without having to wade through Rupert Murdoch's sea of piss and vinegar

http://www.theonion.com/articles/intern ... ne:default
Additional investigations by internet users have found that the attack was committed by either a lone attacker, a right-wing militia, a single Islamic jihadist, a consortium of Islamic fundamentalist groups, the U.S. Federal Reserve, North Korea, the Boston Police Department, the anti-gun lobby, the pro-gun lobby, or the marathon’s organizers.

While still early in the investigation, experts believe the internet is likely to uncover crucial evidence in the coming hours that will likely result in anywhere between 20 to 30 million more leads on potential bombing suspects

I have to say, given this was probably one of the most photographed events in the US at that time whoever did it wanted to get caught... or was just really really dumb.

Quite honestly...better than watching hordes of patchouli oil invested nitwit Lefty Socialists prattling on about redistribution and how profound the latest Terrence Malick film is whilst sitting in a pool of their own filth at the latest G7 protest.

Mix one part organic patchouli oil with one part ylang ylang ("complete" quality) oil, and two parts rubbing alcohol for a true "scent of hippy" perfume. Recommended for spraying on neighbor's cat.
