I think the fact you know his name is part of the problem. He should be remembered (if at all) as just another brainless psyco. Authorities should put less emphasis on how dangerous these arseholes are (they love that), and more on them being pathetic losers. It's tragic that they get a platform for their "views" like this.

IMO it's important to understand these people and expose them. who know how many other McVeigh's were approached and calmed down by friends after his profile was made public?
People always assume that copycat killers are going to rise after etc. but it's quite possible that the opposite happens, that people who are starting to lose it are paid attention to and "disarmed" by friends that notice a similarity.

IMO the whole modern process of demonizing your enemy and refusing to figure out why these people pop up is as much or more responsible for their perpetuation as the infamy.
