Live 8.4.1 64 bit crashes every time I load Kore2 64 Bit
I have used 32 bit Live 8 until I noticed the other day that there was a 64bit version download.
I downloaded and installed it. Now when I drag an instance of Kore2 to an audio channel (or Kore2 FX to a return channel), Live immediately crashes.
Upon reopening the bug reporter blames Kore2.
Projects where Kore2 is featured open, and Kore2 produces sound. I get a crash when I try to open the plugin to edit its parameters though.
Any ideas?
Mark

Are you using 64 bit of Kore 2? Is there a 64 bit version of it? That may be your problem.

I don't know what else to suggest other than google search for issues with Kore 2 64 bit, search the forums here/check in beta forums if readable or check google for anyone else having issues with the 64 bit version. Have you got the latest? Do you have Service Center to check for any updates to things? If you haven't checked, would be good idea to see if there is any updates. That's all I got...sorry!

Didn’t NI stop supporting Kore? I think the whining about that crashed the internet. If it’s not working with new software you might have to entertain the possibility that you are SOL.

Pro-53 stopped working some time ago...

..the workaround is to host the plugin through M4L...
(vst~ object is your friend...)

Re: Live 8.4.1 64 bit crashes every time I load Kore2 64 Bit
I lost FM8 in my Live listing, files are in the 2 locations but live still will not see them. I snagged FM7 but have to figure out if I can register it but service center isn't even noticing it is there. I may have to dig up my old install if I want to add it back in. Not sure why FM8 stopped being seen....that bugs the crap out of me as I was hoping to mess around with it in near future...too bad Pro-53 stopped working normally....

Re: Live 8.4.1 64 bit crashes every time I load Kore2 64 Bit
OK back with good news, sort of.
I had 3 instances of Kore2 in that project. I removed ALL of them, (collected all) and saved the project then reopened it.
I can now drop in new instances of Kore2 and work on them.
Unfortunately I'll have to reinstall 32 bit Ableton to reopen a previous version of the project file to save my Kore2 presets/instrument arrays. I had some nice bass and pads going that I won't be able to recreate easily.
Hope this helps someone in the future. Kore2 is still awesome, and I'm glad it will continue to work for me (for now).

And it's started happening again.
