I just started looking at the M4L Push dev kit that Florian posted. It's really impressive. For sure there are things that should be added to Push's native functionality, but this dev kit will enable some amazing things. Check out the polygome64 device attached to the first post.

I'd like to have the velocity sensitivity de-coupled from aftertouch sensitivity. They need independent settings, IMO.

hold delete and touch a encoder to reset to default state.

quantize hold then use the interval/repeat pads to adjust the quantize value

Save/load presets? Save/load sets? Or save/load clips?

but only works for some synths. It would be a zillion times better if Live simply let us select the VST presets via the LCD screen. Is that really so difficult?
I ve tried Program Change and Auto 1 device http://www.maxforlive.com/library/devic ... e-and-auto. It works for VSTs with multiple banks of presets.

Must have !

I would also like to delete loop bar(s) in the sequencer mode with a delete button combination .

not sure if it was you in the other thread, but I was thinking more about this - I really think the drum pads should only be moved with the octave up/down buttons. Apart from using the touch strip for pitch, I also keep accidentally nudging it which is irritating..

I agree that Ableton should definitely let us switch the default functionality of the touch slider in both note and drum rack modes, for example pitch bend when in beat/drum rack mode, modewheel when in note mode. That said, a disadvantage of using an option to control this via either Live's preferences or holding down the User button on Push, would be that this wouldn't be a dynamic per track setting. A better, though less accessible solution might be using the M4L Push Dev Kit.

Unfortunately, v0.8 of Florian's M4L Push Dev Kit is unable at the moment to update the led indicators on the touch slider. After this is fixed, it should be possible to easily repurpose the touch slider on a per track basis. This would mean you could simply drop an M4L midi device before your a drum rack to switch the touch slider to a pitch bend.

My apologies...... Save/load sets... Not only would it be handy for knocking ideas out, it would mean I could use a rackmount pc without a keyboard, mouse or screen to do gigs and jam
