Capture Record

Post by fastfx » Wed Apr 03, 2013 8:15 pm

Hi,

Is it possible to capture record in ableton? like logic.

E.g you play your keyboard then press a command and it captures what you just played.....saving you having to hit record and play it in.

Thanks

Turn on overdub, the OVR button next to record.

I know what you're saying, but I mean, if I you were just playing away on your keyboard, and thought ah that last bit sounded good - is there a function where it captures what you've just played?

I don't think there is to be honest, logic has it, I was just wondering if ableton did. It's a useful feature.
