Possible to browse other folders/areas with Push?

Post by n8tron » Sun Apr 21, 2013 6:57 pm

can you browse other folders with Push? Right now with the browse section it only covers the instruments section of Live. Can you use Push to browse and add plugins? or audio effects? or other sections of your "places" in Live 9?

I would like to know this too... I have read about how it's possible to add your own drum sounds, but how do you add your own sampler-created instruments? Kind of an essential feature

Co-signed! 8O

Kinda getting real sick of using Ableton presets when using Push. Yuk.

Also, is it possible to browse the Ableton sounds by the categories in the very top of the software browser?

ie. to browse ONLY 'bass' sounds, or only 'synth leads'. Seems silly that this was supposedly one of the big improvements to the browser, yet this doesn't translate to Push.

Also - it is very odd that when browsing using Push, that your filtering of search results is not reflected in the software browser.

Any ideas here?

when you browse with push, instrument rack opens the pre defined sections like bass, leads, etc.

depends. I think its shift-device or shift-browse or somesuch, to place the new device to the left of the currently selected device. To add midi effects before instruments, and such...
