One of my main long-running frustrations with Live,
is that when I have a busy set (usually a song near completion) and I try and arrange little clips in different places, like effects or incidental sounds, sometimes it takes so long from clicking, to moving/copying until it appears in the new place. I'm left hanging there gritting my teeth waiting for it to drop!! When i could have got onto the next bit ... you know?
Dragging a clip length and chopping is much much quicker but for little sounds and fx that are not looped this method is not feasible.
I dont understand why it should take so long, I used to whizz around Cubase or Logic making arrangement tweaks like this, why does Live have a problem with this? I remember someone saying its to do with the Undo history?
Can anyone explain?
