no. ive just bought live 4 today and im getting the free upgrade to live 5 now but i want to know if i can buy operator (at discount price) even if i get the free live 5 upgrade because its no showing me any options to buy it at discount, it just gave me my free L5 serial
I have similar question. Can I still get the Operator discount even though I did not buy it when upgrading to L5 from L4? I was not convinced when I upgraded since I already have a ton of VSTis and balked at buying a synth that only works in Live. I find Operator very good though and am considering buying, but only if it is still at a discount.

Thanks,
Gordon

if Henke can do it, why the hell can't I?!

Cause Henke is the man when it comes to electronic music, synths and mad experimental sounds. You obviously havent heard his tunes..

I have gone from cynical amusement at the concept of Operator to actually having bought it along with my 5 upgrade. I'm very impressed. Already, I took one tune where I ReWired a Malstrom patch back into Live for the bass line; and replaced that with an Operator bass that sounds great (a very slight tweaked Gritty patch).

I have gone through the tutorials and am eager to experiment. I really recommend taking the half hour or whatever to do that--My knowledge of FM has been mostly theoretical till now (I read the sections on that in Jerse and Dodge) but now I can apply some of those principals for real. The looping envelopes are a hoot and I already have ideas for tracks with the rhythmic elements based on them...
