As a one year Ableton Live veteran I have what seems to sound like a newbie question…
In preferences, push is set up in the controller section at the top but I have not set anything in the midi below
(in or out) which I believe is correct.
- When setting up a channel strip are you selecting Push as the midi in source or are you leaving it to All in?
I ask this because I have had odd things occur from time to time if I leave the it set to All in..
Sometimes the midi notes that have been recorded are registering with extremely pale velocity. Another thing I have seen is sometimes I would get a stuck note… So I'm scratching my head and wondering if selecting Push as the midi in is necessary. I have had more consistent results when Push is the source.
Feedback more than welcome..
