Should/can I rearrange my library for optimal Push browsing?

Has anyone yet devised an optimal way to make their own user content browsable with Push?

Is such a thing even possible, and if it is, will it require significant relocation of files into Live 9's library?

....OR....

Is being able to browse my own custom presets and the Live 8 library simply a pipe dream that I should forget about?

well, there does seem to be a limited ability to hack additional folder structure, discussed elsewhere in this forum. I think most are expecting live to get this resolved in an official way though. It shouldn't be as cumbersome as it is to arrange the browser, both in live and push.

I'd love to be able to load my own drum rack into push, categorized having 12 folders, one for each key.

This shouldn't be something I have to hack py script for........

I think I might wait it out - I don't want to waste all that time re-arranging everything for it to only change - and potentially un-do all of my work!

Hurry up Ableton - this browser nonesense is painful.

Same here. For now I'm just browsing through my laptop while I wait to see if Ableton gets it sorted. If they don't by Summer I'll start doing some heavy lifting. It's taking a while to get 9.0.3 out again so I imagine they've run into some tough ground. Hopefully they get this train moving QUICK. Bitwig is patiently hammering away.

thats why ive always said that the appeal of the push is the pads themselves. What software they wind up controlling is still very much up in the air ;D
