Yes
Apparently the plan is to roll us back to 9.0.1 by next week, and then if all goes well, to 8.3.4 by next month.

Was 9.0.3 a candidate for auto-update? Because I never attempted to download it when it was up, but a few days ago I noticed that my Live is already reporting 9.0.3:
Re: so wait, current version is 9.0.2?
it didn't auto update for me, i downloaded it from my account/license page. i just noticed yesterday that we were back on version 9.0.2...i haven't run into any issues yet with 9.0.3, i'm wondering if uninstalling it, then reinstalling 9.0.2, will be a waste of time?
i am not too butt hurt over all of this, but i would have liked an email though, at least. not super psyched to have to rely on "the forum" to get my update info. i realize they probably don't want to hype it up, that they had to move back to version 9.0.2.....but still.

All joking aside there is another thread on this, but yeah, several of us got the auto update. Abe's solution, uninstall it and go back to 9.02
I have not had some of the show stoppers others have had but I'm pretty basic in my live use. Weekend before this they said "next week".........so much for that!

Re: so wait, current version is 9.0.2?
The release of 9.0.2 was already a disaster. People using the trial version of Live couldn't go past the authentication server and use the software at all. So much for a trial that was supposed to encourage people to buy the final product... They already sent out an official email to apologize to trial users and I understand that they'd try to play down the issues with this new patch because it kind of starts to become embarrassing.eddiex wrote:it didn't auto update for me, i downloaded it from my account/license page. i just noticed yesterday that we were back on version 9.0.2...i haven't run into any issues yet with 9.0.3, i'm wondering if uninstalling it, then reinstalling 9.0.2, will be a waste of time?

Re: so wait, current version is 9.0.2?
So, I've been working on finishing a track all evening, and I keep having this problem where tracks with VST plugins on them are playing dry, and I have to toggle the plugins off/on to get them to process audio. Been rebooting my computer, restarting Live, changing interfaces, etc.
Then I thought, "Hey I wonder if those 9.0.3 bugs had anything to do with this..."
And apparently they do. Downloading the beta now...
EDIT: Yep, that was totally it. *whew*
