Yeah, the kerning is horrid, not unlike a ransom note, which makes it fitting.

it is. :|

the whole point of a logo is brand identification. if your logo/banner keeps changing slightly and the kerning is off and the graphics go from pom-poms and glitter to plain text and back again it makes for a lack of consistency in the parts that actually matter. - i.e. consistently changing it doesn't count.

having a good logo/banner is a good start to having a good site. sure, content is the meat and potatoes, but if the site looks janky then the credibility is lowered. just sayin.

I didn't claim anything of the sort.. "spoiled my forum experience" was not anything close to what I said. Don't put your stupid words in my mouth please. I never said it was a "horrible experience" either.. so stuff it! Why can't you accept the words I used, and what I said without dragging me down with terms I did not use?

It's too much to ask when it doesn't matter one bit what single thread I saw.. maybe I saw a few. That's not the relevant detail here.

This gets my vote for best post ever. It is both impossibly random, and entirely on topic. Bisous.

The terms you used were flamboyant, annoying and dickhead. Can't you see I'm trying to help you? I can't understand your problem unless I know what it is. I want to know what thread(s) you were reading this morning when you had this ghastly encounter with my signature.

My sig promotes free tutorials, so I have to think of others as well as just you, you know. You're not the only person using this forum.
Yup.. Annoying first.. had you left it at that, the others would never been used to describe to you in detail what I was referring to. Can't you see I was trying to be civil before you played the clueless card yet again?

Can't you see from what I've said just what would help me? (if you can't really tell after all this - using the same url for your banners would be a great help. nothing more is needed from you to help me)

Think of the others, who in this thread have addressed similar issues as I have.. and do the right thing.. use 1 url to help us all and help us not get annoyed with your promotion tactics.. It's really not hard.

Funk N. Furter wrote: No, if you wanted to be civil you would pm me. So, you can't remember what thread it was in which this momentous assault on your visual space took place? You remember my sig but not the thread? Well, was it about Live? Plugins maybe? Was it one where someone was asking a question and I was trying to answer it? Just trying to jog your memory. Can you do me a favour and whip through your browser's history, only take a minute.

No I can't stick to one url. You think I'm gonna remember in a few weeks time which one it was? I usually use Fileden but it's been down for days, so I'm very disillusioned in it.
PM wasn't needed.. Made a simple post saying it was starting to get annoying again..

I can remember just fine.. I also feel that it doesn't matter which thread which I've said over & over, since that's not my issue at all. Plus it seems to annoy you that I'm not saying which, so it's worth that alone keeping it to myself.

okay.

kerning... Macableton

the spacing between the M and A is a little tight... and thats okay.. if you make the rest consistent.
personally, i would move the A over just a hair.

A and the C - too far apart.

C and A... see recommendation for M and A

A and B - too tight

B and L... hard to say without seeing the other changes implemented, but i'd guess move the L left a hair.

E and L - move the E to the left.

T O N - looks good for now... undecided without seeing the other changes (but it looks like moving the O a hair left from the N could be in order)

try starting with the last letter and working your way left.
