L9 browser : any way to display m4l folders ?
Hi, did i miss something or there is no way to display the folders in L9's browser ?
I have a ton of m4l devices and it's getting really messy.

I-Really-Love_ Ableton, but sadly, the browser is still designed in a wrong way.
I have problems with M4L, with Live8 presets, the things are here and there and the automatic ( ! ) placements of the saved things dont deserve any comment.
I hope somebody can help us. Or, better, I pray for a full redesign of the most important thing in a DAW : THE- BROWSER.
_______
Other thing..., congratulations for your work we really admire your music and performances.
Saludos,
Esteban

Search for them using Control/CMD-f key or open up instruments in browser and you should see your Live 9 M4L devices. For Live 8, look in the Live 8 library. That's all I can think of off the top of my head. I do not have M4L from Live 8. Also peruse the Ableton Website under Help I think which should give you a lot of information (and also read the manual on devices as it may point you to where to look as well).

Good point. i just find it annoying that the browser gets polluted by lots of unused devices. i save all my work with an incremental order (mydevice v0.1, mydevice v0.11, etc........) to keep track of every changes i make, so it's wasting a lot of space.Valiumdupeuple wrote:You can add any folder to your places...

What i mean is : in the browser, under 'max midi effects', i got hundreds of devices, that should be hidden in folders. Anyway !
(BTW, i still didn't have the time to check out your looper device...looking forward to it !)
