Interesting thread here...personally in the end, I decided I wanted the processing power of Live 9 64-bit on the Mac more than I wanted to wait for Lennar to update Sylenth. It was a great synth for it's time, but it's beginning to show it's age.

I've switched over to Synthmaster (which sounds great and is well supported and being updated).

A few other great synths that work on Mac 64-bit are Urs Heckman's Zebra2, Camel Audio's Alchemy, reFX's Nexus, and Spectrasonic's Omnisphere.

I've been thinking about switching to Zebra myself, but I already have more synths than I can handle, and having gotten Sylenth1 to work (in Windows), I don't feel the urge too much. The one thing I can't stand about Sylenth1 is its preset system. It's so ridiculously dated.
